• A note from OKJ

  A Feeling of Music Playing (乐在其中) is my earnest attempt to bridge the chasm between those who know the feeling of music playing and those who are curious about it.

  As a non-musician myself, the feelings that people experience when participating in music creation has intrigued me. Yet, dialogues about them often end with a resignation that it is difficult to put into words, only when one participates can they understand.

  Believing that documentaries is a powerful medium to address such a need, I spent 18 months listening and appreciating music around me.

  Together with my crew and the trust of my cast, we were able to capture "lightning in a bottle" and hope that you will enjoy what we all felt during production, a feeling of music playing.
